How production works
What to expect from start to finish.
How do I start a music video project?
Submit a project inquiry with your track, any visual references or concepts you have in mind, your target platform (YouTube, Instagram, etc.), and your rough budget range. We'll respond within 5 business days with initial creative direction thoughts. No formal brief required at this stage — we want to hear how you're thinking about it.
What is the typical production timeline?
A standard music video takes 4–8 weeks from first conversation to final delivery: 1–2 weeks concept development, 1 week pre-production, 1–2 shoot days, and 2–4 weeks post-production. Rush delivery can be arranged for specific projects — contact us to discuss.
Where do you produce videos?
We're based in Los Angeles and have relationships with a wide range of locations and facilities across LA. We also work with artists remotely — we can connect you with production crews in your city and supervise creative and technical direction remotely. International productions are handled on a project-by-project basis.
Do I need to have a concept before I contact you?
No. Many of our best projects start from a track and a mood reference — no script, no concept. Our creative development process is built for this. If you do have a concept already, we'll work to develop and refine it. If you have only a feeling about the music, we'll build from that. Both starting points are valid.
What deliverables do I receive?
Standard delivery includes a 4K master, a 1080p web version, and a 9:16 vertical crop for short-form platforms. Still frames and EPK photo assets are included from production. Optional add-ons: Spotify Canvas loop, animated lyric overlay, and additional vertical cuts for specific platforms.
Do you produce videos for artists outside the EchoVira network?
Yes. EchoVira Music Video is open to any artist or label, regardless of network affiliation. Being part of the EchoVira label network is not required to access production services. We work with artists across all genres, languages, and backgrounds.
